In short
- Goals from Pascal Gross, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andres gave Brighton a 3–0 home win over Arsenal on 19 September 2026.

Brighton & Hove Albion beat Arsenal 3–0 at the Amex Stadium on 19 September 2026, ending the defending champions’ winning start to the Premier League season.
Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas scored from distance before half-time. Chema Andres added the third after the interval, heading in a Gross corner to leave Arsenal with a deficit they could not recover.
Brighton’s pressure disrupted Arsenal’s attempts to build attacks from their own half. The visitors had a chance to draw level through Bukayo Saka shortly before Kostoulas doubled the home side’s lead, but goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen kept his effort out.
The result moved Brighton into third place, two points behind Arsenal, according to Sky Sports’ match report. Arsenal had been seeking an eighth consecutive victory in all competitions at the start of the campaign.
The score and scorers were corroborated by Sky Sports and The Guardian. Al Jazeera also reported the 3–0 result.
