Liverpool announced on September 8, 2026 that Turkish Airlines will become its main club partner from June 1, 2027, with the airline replacing Standard Chartered on the front of match shirts for the 2027–28 season.

The change will cover the men's, women's and academy teams. Standard Chartered will retain its current role throughout the 2026–27 season, then continue its relationship with Liverpool as a global partner. The bank has been the club's main partner since 2010.

The Guardian reported that the agreement runs for five years and is worth more than £60 million annually, putting its total value above £300 million. Liverpool's announcement confirmed the sponsorship transition but did not disclose a contract value or duration.

For Liverpool, the agreement secures a new commercial partner for one of its most visible sponsorship positions while preserving its relationship with the outgoing sponsor. Supporters will see the shirt change from the 2027–28 season; the announcement does not bring forward the end of Standard Chartered's current term.
